Selous Day Trip Safari from Zanzibar

Your day starts with an early morning hotel pickup and transfer to Zanzibar Airport. After a short domestic flight, you arrive in the heart of the park where your professional safari guide welcomes you. Board a custom-built 4x4 safari vehicle and begin an exciting game drive across vast savannahs, acacia woodlands, wetlands, and river systems.

Nyerere National Park is famous for its rich wildlife and untouched wilderness. During your game drive, search for elephants, lions, African buffaloes, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impalas, elands, warthogs, hippos, crocodiles, and many other species. The park is also home to hundreds of bird species, making it an excellent destination for bird lovers.

Your experienced guide shares insights about animal behavior, conservation efforts, and the unique ecosystem while leading you to the best wildlife viewing areas. Every game drive is different, making each safari a unique experience.

Around midday, enjoy a freshly prepared picnic lunch at a designated site inside the park surrounded by nature. After lunch, continue exploring different areas of the park where new wildlife encounters await.
