5-Day Northern Circuit Joining Camping Safari

Depart from Arusha after brief group introductions. Drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and massive elephant family herds. Spend the day tracking wildlife along the Tarangire River before heading to your nearby campsite for dinner and rest.

Travel up across the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands, catching a glimpse of the crater, and descend onto the endless plains of the Serengeti. Embark on an afternoon game drive looking for cheetahs, lions, and hyenas before settling into your campsite in the heart of the park.

Spend a full day tracking the Great Migration herds or locating leopards hidden on rocky granite kopjes. Enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives when predators are most active, returning to camp for hot meals prepared by your chef.

Enjoy a final morning sunrise game drive out of the Serengeti as you journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your camp pitched directly on the high crater rim, enjoying crisp air, sweeping views, and a warm dinner.

Descend early 600 meters down into the volcanic crater floor. This enclosed caldera is your best opportunity to see the rare black rhino alongside massive bull elephants and prides of lions. After a rewarding morning game drive, ascend the rim and drive back to Arusha to conclude your journey.
